For the Fairborn Flyer 15K 15K Advanced Running Project has partnered with Families of Addicts help educate and empower those with addictions.
How much does ARP donate to Families of Addicts?
Each you we have increased our donation to Families of addicts. In 2018 we donated $250 and in 2019 we donated $350. As we grow we are able to donate more.
Can I make an additional donation to the charity?
Absolutely! While registering their is a page that asks you if you would like to donate extra, 100% of that donation goes to Families of Addicts. Additionally at anytime you can visit FairbornFlyer.com and click "donate" to make a donation.
Is the Advanced Running Project a non-profit?
Advanced Running is not a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, but don’t let a tax classification fool you. Supporting charities is part of the foundation of who we are and what we believe in as a company. Since our founding in 2018 we have donated thousands to organizations in our community.
Is my registration tax deductible?
Unfortunately, no. While a portion of your registration fee will be donated to charity, we are not a 501(c)(3) charity and are therefore unable to provide tax receipts.
How do we know you donated the money?
After the event we will work with FOA to make a final payment to them and will provide documentation of the acknowledgement letter we receive from the FOA on our Facebook page.
